Ed at Liberty!

Ed spent last weekend in Liberty, Maine visiting our friends Jen and Dan's vacation house.

If you know Ed, you'll remember when you ask where he grew up, he'll reply "I never grew up".  Well, he got to enjoy beautiful weather and play all day long with fishing buddies Caleb and Curtis.  They also learned Cat's Cradle and ate Pop Rocks.  What could be better?

Since the kids had never heard any of Ed's stories before, THAT was entertaining, even if Ed's scrambled eggs "don't taste like Dad's".  I was at a Board meeting, alas, and missed a good time.

Maybe next year!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Well, the big day arrived and Elizabeth and Chris hosted a great party with delicious munchies and fabulous fish soup.  The trick-or-treaters needed some sustenance before heading our into the wintry blasts!

Ed and I stayed inside by the fire.  Three sets of grandparents were there, along with Chris's brothers, Anthony Santoro and neighbors and friends.

Thanks for a great time!
